We need your help to stop the Real ID in N.C.  If you can help with any of the issues, please sign up for our action alerts and contact us to let us know what you will be doing so we can keep track of what is being done.

• First we need everyone to Contact their Legislators to share your opposition to the Real ID and find out if they are opposed to the Real ID.  We have found email works at times, but call their offices and alternative numbers listed under the Legislative section of this site.  If a Legislator requests more information, please contact us so we can provide it to them.  If a legislator provides their position on the real ID, please forward that information to us as well so we can update our information.

• Next, we need 5 Volunteers to Ghost Write letters to the Editors. We ask that each one write two letters to the editor for us to post on this web site and allow others to use to send to the newspapers around North Carolina. Each letter should be between 250-300 words.  Please send them to us via the contact form.  If this is something you will do, please let us know.

• Next, we need Twenty Volunteers to either write their own letter to the editor or use one of the ones we post to send to the editor.  You can reach the newspapers by going to the Newspaper Section. The Newspaper section is in Alphabetical order, so just pick a letter you are willing to do.  For the Spanish Language Newspapers, you can send them in English I am sure they will post them in their proper language, plus We will send them one in Spanish just in Case.

• Fourth, we need everyone to contact their local talk radio stations or the talk radio stations you can listen to online and call in and discuss the Real ID.  We also need ten volunteers to gather information about these talk shows with times and listen live links, email addresses, show host names, names of the shows so that we can post that information and make it easier for our supporters to contact them.  Save that information to an email or text file in the following format:

Name of Show
Station call letters
Name of Host(s)
We site link (Listen Live link if they have one)
Talk show call in numbers

We need each volunteer to choose three cities they will find the information for and be sure to send us the information after you have compiled it.

• Next, we need ten volunteers to search for contact information (email address is preferred) for all churches in NC.  Each volunteer should choose a faith (Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, Amish, Mennonites, ect..) and that information will be posted so we do not have people overlapping their work.  You will save them in an email or text file.  Each email address should be on a separate line. Contact us when you complie this information and we will give you an email address to send it to

• Next, we need someone to write an appeal to our veterans and encourage their leadership to vote on a resolution to oppose the real ID as well as standing with us with the Legislators to oppose the Real ID.  If you are a veteran or active military and would like to take on this task, please write up your letter and submit it to us.  You do not have to sign it if you don’t want to one of our other members will gladly sign it and we will send it to them. Please email it to us ASAP.

• We need everyone to get their friend, relatives, loved ones, groups, churches organizations and so on involved in our efforts.  Simply talk to them and tell them about our efforts.  Have them sign up for our Action Alerts so that everyone can be updated on our progress and any breaking news that you may need to see.

• Finally, we need every volunteer who takes on these tasks to work quickly and we need every volunteer on our weekly conference call. Calls are Every Monday at 9pm. It is a must if we are to be successful.  TIME IS RUNNING OUT.  We have until March 15^th for the Senate and until MArch 26th for the House to file our Proposed Legislation.
