L-1 Technology Here is a brochure from L-1 Identity Solutions from their web site. See the sample ID card. Notice they include the person's party affiliation? This information as well as religious affiliation can be required in the future if it is deemed necessary by DHS, no Questions or Restrictions on what kind of information they can obtain or require about each and everyone of us. http://www.l1id.com/

There is no such thing as a secure database. How do I know? I have been working with computers for ten years. Ever get a virus? That is a form of being hacked. There are other ways hackers get into databases as well. Below are a few examples of what happens to databases every day in this country.

Lets talk about the Information sharing, not just information between the states, but information with Mexico and Canada. All information that you hand over to the DMV will be shared with the Canadian Government and the Crooked Mexican Government.

Some who are supporting the Real ID tell me that it is not true, but let me prove otherwise. Here is the Section of the Real ID that States the Sharing of information.

Sec. 203 (a) found on page 50 lines 16-23 of HR 418
frwebgate.access.gpo.gov

6 SEC. 203. LINKING OF DATABASES.
17 (a) IN GENERAL.-To be eligible to receive any grant
18 or other type of financial assistance made available under
19 this title, a State shall participate in the interstate compact regarding sharing of driver license data, known as
21 the ''Driver License Agreement'', in order to provide electronic access by a State to information contained in the
23 motor vehicle databases of all other States.

Here is what the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators have to say about the Real ID and information sharing:

Until all the Real ID Act's attendant regulations are known, it is difficult to appreciate all requirements which may be imposed. The CDLA has not yet been completed and the Canadian provinces and territories will not necessarily be able to modify their driver license and revise their issuance and data exchange procedures by January 1, 2008. Expenses to comply will the millions of dollars which places a lot of pressure on the provinces and territories.www.aamva.org

AAMVA - Comments on DHS Proposed Rulemaking

Pg. 6 "In June 2005, the federal governments of Canada, the United States and Mexico published a 'Report to Leaders' entitled 'Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America'. It provides general direction on a number of security issues, although it does not specifically mention the use of driver licences as part of any security solution. Under the section headed 'Securing North America from External Threats' is the following statement. "We will develop standards for lower-cost secure proof of status and nationality documents to facilitate cross-border travel, and work to achieve optimal production before January 1, 2008."

Pg. 5 "The United States Real I.D. Act mandates that beginning in May 2008, a state driver license or ID card cannot be used for any federal purpose (including boarding an airplane) unless it meets specific federal requirements."

Pg. 10 "As a first step, a bi-national working group should be established to identify and develop proposals for alternative forms of "secure documentation", such as a new, more secure driver license or other forms of documentation that would comply with the requirements of the U.S. Real ID Act of 2005. Today a driver license, whether issued by a department of motor vehicles in a Province of Canada or a U.S. State is the most common form of identity document. With a photo signature and physical description, the driver license assumes a role beyond its original purpose of identifying a licensed driver and is frequently used for personal identification when crossing the border.

In record breaking speed after the Real ID was signed into law BlueBear Network pput out the following Press Release:

BlueBear Network Teams with VisionSphere to Target U.S. Real ID Act

OTTAWA, Ontario, June 1, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- BlueBear Network International, Inc (Pink Sheets:BLBR) announced today it has extended its exclusive licensing of facial recognition and secure distributed search technology from Ottawa-based VisionSphere Technologies, to offer State motor vehicle agencies the ability to link driver's license databases between all U.S. states, Canada and Mexico -- as proposed by the sweeping REAL ID Act approved by Congress this month….

"The passing of the Real ID Act by Congress earlier this month will enable BlueBear to position itself to be a key technology player in linking driver's license databases throughout North America," said Andrew Brewin, President and CEO of BlueBear Network. "Given that BlueBear is already deploying information sharing systems in Law Enforcement, adding Driver's Licenses is a logical extension. ….

The key phrase in the Real ID act is the "States must participate in the Drivers License Agreement" or DLA. It is the DLA that allows the states to share your private information with Mexico and Canada and private corporations. This could be expanded in the future to include other countries as well.

8. Uniformity among all member jurisdictions concerning the exchange of information on licenses, identification cards, records, convictions, withdrawals and other data related to the driver licensing process;

11. Jurisdiction - A state, territory or possession of the United States, the District of Columbia, a territory or province of Canada or any state of the Republic of Mexico or the Federal District of Mexico.

In case this isn't enough information for you, then take a look at the National Conference of State Legislators and what some of their concerns are regarding the Real ID.

From the National Conference of State Legislators:

2. Participation by Canada and Mexico. The DLA changes the definition of jurisdiction from the existing DLC and allows participation by Canada and Mexico. Without federal approval, some question exists about the legality under the compact clause of the U.S. Constitution of states entering into agreements with foreign jurisdictions. In addition, lawmakers may have some privacy concerns that stem from sharing driver record information with foreign jurisdictions.

8. There is no evidence that the DLA will provide all the benefits AAMVA claims it will. Although AAMVA has long touted the DLA as a major improvement over existing agreements, a positive effect cannot be assumed. For example, even though training on fraudulent documents is required, there is no evidence that it will actually improve driver license integrity and security. Those intent on using fraudulent documents to obtain a license may find other mechanisms to circumvent the system.

9. Improper delegation of authority. Legislators who are considering the DLA may want to evaluate whether their enabling legislation improperly delegates authority to the agreement. State constitutions and preexisting state statutes may conflict with DLA provisions or place restrictions on the delegation of authority to the agreement. To avoid future legal problems, lawmakers will want to examine the DLA within the context of existing laws.

Now, if you are not sure about the Real Purpose of the Real ID which is a National ID Card by default. Meaning it is not technically a National ID Card because it is not issued by the Federal Government but by Linking all of the Database and sharing that information with the Federal Government it becomes a defacto National ID Card. By Sharing the data with Mexico and Canada, it becomes a North American ID Card and by sharing the information with other countries, it becomes a Global or International ID Card.

Are you awake yet? Are you going to do anything about it or will you just sit there complain and talk big? Perhaps you will throw open your windows and doors and Shout at the top of your lungs "I'm Mad as Hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!"

Then Get to www.ncard.info and GET INVOLVED! We need your help if we are to defeat the Real ID in our state and help defeat it at the Federal Level. Will you help or will you sit back and watch the nazification of our nation?

Stop the Real ID

Anyone in NC can fight to stop the Real ID. Many of the Legislators are refusing to answer emails about their position on the Real ID. They just delete them and go about their day as if We the People do not Matter. Use the Alternative Phone number and contact them. The Real ID must be stopped.
